Rena Quality Group has with economical support from Innovasjon Norge og Forskningsrådet developed a brand new system for handling of cuttings. Rena Quality Group and Eagle Technology has been working closely togehter with the development of the ITDU unit, and the majority of production of mechanical parts have been done at our factory in Bosnia, for later to be assembled and tested in Norway. Eagle Technology was also responsible for assembling the unit at site on Averøya. First version of the pilot unit was delivered to Rena Quality Group in September 2016. The system has later been further developed at site on Averøya, and is now at the third version. The ITDU has done test runs for a year, and is now in commercial operation where it treats cuttings in according to contract with SAR.
