Eagle Technology has successfully completed a demerger process and, effective April 2026, is now organized into three separate sister companies. The demerger is a strategic decision aimed at enabling each business area to better realize its full potential.
“By separating our intellectual property into dedicated companies, we create a stronger foundation for growth and improved focus, both commercially and financially,” says Pål Myklebust, Chairman of the Board and major shareholder in the parent company, Eagle AS.
The existing Eagle Technology company, which will be rebranded with new company name later this spring, will assume responsibility for water treatment solutions, Rena Pure and drill cuttings technology, ITDU, including operations at the Averøya site. The company’s main office will remain in Stavanger, with an underlying legal entity in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Roy Moberg will continue as CEO until the new brand is officially launched.
A dedicated sister company, Vixla AS, has been established for the further development of the Vixla plastic recycling technology. Vixla AS is headquartered at Prinsens gate 22, 0157 Oslo, and will be led by its new CEO, Simen Moberg. The establishment of Vixla AS does not result in any changes to staffing or role distribution, but will strengthen our commercial, global go-to-market focus in the coming years,” says Simen Moberg.
In addition, Eagle Technology Newco, which will operate under the Eagle Technology brand, will be responsible for engineering and fabrication of proprietary products such as Rena Pure, ITDU and Vixla systems, as well as equipment and components for external clients. The company is headquartered in Halden, with Roy Moberg continuing as CEO. Eagle Technology Bosnia and Eagle Technology Vietnam will remain subsidiaries of Eagle Technology Newco.
“Overall, this structure strengthens our focus on sales and marketing of our IP technologies while enabling an even stronger emphasis on efficient and cost-optimized fabrication,” says Roy Moberg, CEO.
