Process Operator Halden/Averøy Environmental Technology

In recent years, Eagle Technology has been highly successful in developing and commercializing its own environmental technology. We are now seeking Process Operators for our plastic recycling demonstration plant (Vixla) in Halden, and/or our drill cuttings treatment facility (IDTU) at Averøya

Over the past 10 years, we have developed unique, patented technologies for the treatment of oil-contaminated waste (ITDU) and the chemical recycling of plastics (Vìxla). These technologies have proven, distinctive environmental benefits, and we are now entering a phase of global commercialization with significant potential.

We are looking for Process Operators to help operate our demonstration plant in Halden and the IDTU facility at Averøya. The preferred work location should be specified in the application.

Some travel to other facilities must be expected, as well as work related to other technologies in our portfolio.Training on all products and technologies will be provided by Eagle Technology.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and carry out demonstration and test operations at the facility at Rokke Waste Management Site in Halden, together with other operators and the Business Operations Manager.
• Participate in a rotating shift schedule at the IDTU facility on Averøya when needed.
• Assist in training customers at the Rokke facility or at the customer’s site, as required.
• Actively contribute to the development of the technology and the establishment of routines and procedures related to operations.
• Participate in and support the company’s goal of achieving zero accidents and injuries.

Qualifications:
• Trade certificate as a Chemical Process Operator or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with the chemical industry.
• Independent and responsible.
• Systematic and well-organized.
• Good communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
• Positive and trustworthy demeanor.
