I’m Roy Moberg, co-owner of Eagle and currently serving as the CEO of Eagle Technology AS. Additionally, I oversee all industrial companies within the Eagle Group worldwide.
My journey at Eagle began in 2001 when I joined as the CEO of Teknotherm. Over the years, I had the privilege of running this company and its subsidiaries globally until 2017 when we sold the shares to Heinen&Hopman.
Since then, Eagle, has increased its focus on environmental technology. We have strategically developed technologies by striking a balance between investing in our own organization and acquiring select companies whose technology has the potential for successful commercialization.
As the CEO of the newly merged entity between Eagle Technology and Rena Quality Group, I have high expectations and firmly believe that this merger will position us as a significant player in technology development and a supplier of green technology and solutions. We now have a much stronger organization with access to resources in sales, R&D, design, engineering, manufacturing, and operations. This comprehensive setup enables us to deliver complete and valuable solutions along the entire value chain.
Our subsidiaries and employees in Bosnia and Vietnam are truly valuable assets that contribute to our competitiveness in terms of highly qualified engineering- and manufacturing capacities, catering to both our own and our clients’ specifications.
With a Master’s degree in Finance & Entrepreneurship and over 30 years of experience in management across various industries and cultures, I find great satisfaction in witnessing the growth and success of talented individuals. The way I see myself successful as a leader is when I’m able to hire and develop people, placing them in positions where they can maximize their potential and contribute to the company’s overall growth.
The people within an organization and their collaborative efforts are the greatest assets for achieving success. At Eagle Technology, I am privileged to lead a motivated and committed team that comprises employees from four different continents, all dedicated to providing high-quality services to our clients.
Beyond work, I am a proud husband of nearly 35 years, a father to three children and two grandchildren. Spending quality time with my family brings me great happiness and fulfillment. I have always been passionate about sports, particularly cycling, cross-country skiing, and running. While I used to compete at a high level when I was younger, these days I enjoy engaging in sports activities with my wife, relishing the happiness and recreation they bring as a break from a demanding life.
I take pride in being the founder of Tour of Scandinavia, the World Tour race in road cycling in Scandinavia, featuring six stages across three countries. Witnessing the dedication and happiness of the volunteers working together to deliver one of the most beautiful and well-organized women’s stage races in the world brings me tremendous joy.
I also cherish the opportunity to travel and explore new places with my family and friends. After all, life itself is a journey, and I truly believe in striving to achieve our goals and make a positive impact in the world.
Looking back, I am proud of what we have accomplished thus far and eagerly anticipate the years ahead. I firmly believe that we will become a market leader in our selected industries.
